How long does the procedure take?

As a rule, between 30 and 60 minutes. Your lips are unique, and so is your treatment. We'll happily discuss treatment times for your own unique situation at your consultation.

Is there any aftercare needed?

If you're looking at lip fillers, there is a slight chance of swelling and bruising on the lips that will take a few weeks to heal. You can prevent or minimise this with aftercare instructions, including avoiding heat and direct sunlight, using ice packs following treatments, and drinking plenty of water.

How long do lip fillers last?

Lip fillers last as long as you want them to. You can have lip fillers injected once, while others may prefer to come for a 6-12 monthly top-up.

How do lip fillers help with wrinkles?

Lip wrinkles are caused by volume loss, which is all part of the natural ageing process. Fillers replace this tissue loss and plump lips to fill your upper lip lines.

How safe are lip fillers?

Like all cosmetic treatments, there is always a small risk of side effects such as oedema (swelling) or vascular occlusion (circulation blockage).

Hyaluronic acid fillers are a safe treatment. The risk of side effects is low, especially if you're treated by a medical professional such as a dentist rather than at a beauty salon.

What are fillers made of?

The main ingredient of our lip fillers is hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in your body, reducing the risk of adverse reactions.

Can I use lipstick or makeup straight away?

Please leave it 24-hours before using any type of makeup after your treatment. You should allow time for your lips to heal. Do not rub the area for 48-hrs.

Are lip fillers uneven at first?

Lip fillers can cause swelling that can leave the lips looking uneven for a short time. It is not necessarily a sign that anything is wrong; it might take a few days for the product to fully settle and the residual swelling to subside.
