Matt qualified from Kings College in 1993 and spent the first 2 years working in the dental departments at Kings College Dental and St Georges Hospital.  Following this he has worked as a general dental practitioner in the local area.  

Matt has a particular interest in dental implants and orthodontics as well as general dentistry. He trained at the Royal College of Surgeons in implants and has been placing them for over 20 years. He recently trained with the IAS Academy, completing their advanced year course and is looking at completing a Diploma in the near future.  His down-to-earth and calm manner means he is great with anxious people and children.

What you probably do not know about Matt, is that in the little spare time he has, he donates his dental skills and facility to assist The Hope Hub – A charity that helps the homelessness in Surrey Heath Borough and surrounding areas. From this, combined with his committed care to provide access to high-quality dentistry for all the community, Matt landed his first Camberley Hero Award 2022. 

Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa BDS Hons (Lond) qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2016 with Honours and distinctions in years 1-5. His academic achievements as an undergraduate also include 10 prestigious awards and a nomination for the University of London Gold Medal. He completed his Foundation Training programme within the North Central London scheme, attached to the Eastman Dental Institute during which year he was awarded the Health Education England best clinical case prize for the work he presented amongst his colleagues within the region. Following which, he successfully passed the Royal College of Surgeons’ Membership exams in Edinburgh in 2017.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa prides himself on being compassionate, empathetic and having excellent communication skills. He has advanced these skills working with dental phobic children and adults in the Special Care Dentistry Department at Kings College Hospital. He is a certified sedation dentist and routinely enjoys the challenge of treating highly anxious patients under sedation.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa is extremely talented in Oral Surgery and has worked at multiple prestigious hospitals including King’s College, St. George’s and Ashford and St. Peter’s. He is responsible for complex surgical extractions including wisdom teeth at the practice. Now in 2025, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa has also completed his 3 year training programme in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. 

Matt Cottam qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2020 and has since developed a special interest in endodontics, currently undertaking his Master’s in the field. Known for his calm and caring manner, Matt is especially popular with nervous patients, helping them feel at ease throughout their treatment. Outside of dentistry, his ideal day off would be spent on a sunny golf course abroad, enjoying a relaxing round in great weather.

Ume’s main role is assisting the dentists and hygienist during clinical procedures but her passion is connecting with nervous patients and putting them at ease.

With over 7 years working the the practice, Ume has developed her skill set  and has recently passed her course in level 3 Dental Nursing Leadership.

Outside of work Ume enjoys the outdoors, going for long walks, spending quality time with her family and cooking. She has 3 boys and 2 rabbits – Tibbles and Marshmallow.

Jane qualified in 1993 from Kings College Dental Hospital. She spent her first year working in the periodontal department at Kings College followed by five years working at a dental implant practice in Windsor. Over the last 20 years Jane has worked in various local dental practices. Jane is highly experienced with the innovative Airflow system which allows for much more effective treatment and patient often find it more comfortable. Jane is a valued member of the Atrium Dental Practice team with her bubbly & kind nature. Along with her compassion, she helps patients overcome their phobias/fears of the dentist. Away from work she enjoys spending time in her garden, visiting national gardens and going to music festivals.

Kate is a Dental therapist registered with the General Dental Council, she trained at Sheffield University and graduated with Distinction, she is an advanced and experienced facial aesthetician. Clinical Aesthetics works synergistically with dentistry, due to the complex anatomy and physiology of the head and neck.

Kate has a Diploma in skin care accredited by BABTAC & The Guild – and Level 4 in Advanced Skin Science – IISHCA – International Institute of Skin Health and Clinical Aesthetics.  

She is trained in skin needling, chemical peels, medical grade skin care including ZO Skin Health by Dr Obagi, injectables including Botulinum Toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters and primers, fat dissolving and vitamin injections.

Above all, Kate is passionate about helping her patients achieve skin health transformations that are truly life changing and confidence boosting.

Kate has a gentle touch and caring nature that puts patients at ease, with many years of experience working in high end practice in both W1 London and Surrey.
