Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa BDS Hons (Lond) qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2016 with Honours and distinctions in years 1-5. His academic achievements as an undergraduate also include 10 prestigious awards and a nomination for the University of London Gold Medal. He completed his Foundation Training programme within the North Central London scheme, attached to the Eastman Dental Institute during which year he was awarded the Health Education England best clinical case prize for the work he presented amongst his colleagues within the region. Following which, he successfully passed the Royal College of Surgeons’ Membership exams in Edinburgh in 2017.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa prides himself on being compassionate, empathetic and having excellent communication skills. He has advanced these skills working with dental phobic children and adults in the Special Care Dentistry Department at Kings College Hospital. He is a certified sedation dentist and routinely enjoys the challenge of treating highly anxious patients under sedation.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa is extremely talented in Oral Surgery and has worked at multiple prestigious hospitals including King’s College, St. George’s and Ashford and St. Peter’s. He is responsible for complex surgical extractions including wisdom teeth at the practice. Alongside general practice work, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baiyaa is also currently undergoing a 3 year training programme in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He successfully completed year 1 and 2 and passed both with Distinction.
