First Appointment – The tooth is numbed with local anaesthetic, the canals are cleaned, and an antibiotic dressing with a temporary filling is placed.
Follow-up Visits – The canals are cleaned again before being permanently sealed with a root filling made of gutta-percha.
Restoration – Depending on the case, your dentist may recommend a dental crown to protect the tooth from future breakage.
